About Loaf Letter
To new friends and old,
I’m Serene. And I like to make loaf cakes that make people go ‘mmm’, not ‘hmm?’.
These days, cakes seem to be all looks, no love. All sugar, no flavour. So I’m taking it back to basics, with the humble loaf cake. Classic flavours made with quality ingredients, and most importantly, made to be enjoyed down to the last crumb.
For me, baking has always been family affair. We’d all have our jobs on the baking production line, having a great time making sweet treats, and an even better time eating them together. My favourite part, even now, is everyone’s reaction to the first bite. The short pause, the appreciative nod, and the collective mmm. And that’s really why Loaf Letter exists, to bring people together. Whether it’s to celebrate the little wins, bring comfort during those lows or to offer a moment to pause.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and I’d like to think the same about my cakes. Much can be said about a cake sent by Loaf Letter:
From ‘Happy Birthday’ to ‘Happy Friday!’
From ‘Congrats on the new job’ to ‘Finally, you’ve left that place’
From ‘Wish you were here’ to ‘Let’s just sit and chat for a bit’
Cake is a love language. Every loaf is made to travel and arrive with good intentions, so you can share the love with someone, near or far…
Who will you send your first Loaf Letter to?
I can’t wait to find out.
With lots of loaf, Serene x
